The Sysgem Enterprise Manager (SEM) provides companies of all sizes with a simple, powerful tool for managing IT, auditing security, administering user accounts and monitoring systems throughout the entire enterprise.

The SEM Base Framework:

SEM operates network-wide using a client/server architecture and supports a multi-platform environment (Windows XP/2000/NT, NetWare, UNIX/Linux, OpenVMS, OS/400, etc.). It:

• Has three components: The Central Management Console (providing a management GUI); the Central Authorization Server (providing log-in access control, SEM user profile management and a data repository); Remote Managed Agents (supporting all major platforms).
   

• Is completely customizable and requires very little effort or expertise to tailor. It supports Perl and O/S command language scripts such as UNIX Shell, OpenVMS DCL and AS400 CL and comes with a set of sample scripts.
   

• Has the ability to display monitored output with a web browser interface.

The SEM Plug-In Application Modules:

These modules provide packaged solutions with comprehensive functionality. They are easy to use, they support layered applications (such as MS Exchange, ORACLE, PATHWORKS, PMDF, Lotus Notes, SAP, etc.) and include:
